Professional career

born in 1959 in Düsseldorf, grew up in Mainz

studied history, German, philosophy and culture management. PhD: Armenfürsorge und Bettelbekämpfung in Vorderösterreich 1753 bis 1806. Unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der Städte Freiburg und Konstanz. Freiburg (Breisgau); München: Alber, 1994. (Forschungen zur oberrheinischen Landesgeschichte; Bd. 38); ISBN 3-495-49938-5

Research assistant and project manager at the 'Deutsches Museum München' (German Museum Munich) and 'Deutsches Hygiene - Museum Dresden' (German Museum of Hygiene Dresden). Among other things, project manager of the permanent exhibition "Umwelt" (Environment) at 'Deutsches Museum' and internal project manager for the section "Mensch" (Human Being) in the theme park of the EXPO2000, author of the "Essen und Trinken" (Eating and Drinking) section of the new permanent exhibition in 'Deutsches Hygiene Museum'.

 

In cooperation with Dr. Roland Nuß creator of the virtual human being - a computer animation which shows the inner part of a human being playing the violin
